The polyester Powder Coating (P.E.)
with TGIC curing agent of the colour and the gloss specified is to be
factory applied by means of electrostatic automatic reciprocating guns onto
pre-treated aluminium substrate.

The dry film thickness of the coating
after being oven baked at 200¡ã C for 15 to 20 minutes
should not be less than 60 microns and should pass or exceed all tests and
requirements of the AAMA 603.5 ¡°Specification for High Performance Organic
coatings on Architectural Extrusions and Panels¡±.

Coated surface should be smooth with
coating evenly applied and without striping, drip marks or blisters.
Use of powder coating for architecture

Powder coating provides a more
colourful, even, longer lasting and durable finish. Powder coating is
considered a superior form of coating applied in architecture and
construction.

Powder coating has high durability,
scratch resistance, gloss retention, resistance to chalking, and meets AAMA
specifications. Powder coating is superior to liquid paint,
anodizing, PVDF and Kynar500®.
